Last night, the Knicks visited the Nets at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The game certainly didn’t go as it was expected to. The Knicks, surprisingly, beat the Nets by a score of 94-82.
Julius Randle led the way for the Knicks, scoring 33 points, helping out with 2 assists, and picking up 8 rebounds. Marcus Morris picked up 22 points, with 8 assists and 2 rebounds as well.
As for the Nets, there isn’t really much to talk about. Spencer Dinwiddie had a good night, scoring 25 points, helping with 3 assists, and picking up 8 rebounds. The Nets set an NBA record-low, since the the shot clock was instituted in 1954, with only 8 made two-point field goals in the entire game. Obviously, the Nets badly need Kyrie Irving back in the lineup.
The Knicks will be back in action on Saturday against the Wizards. Hopefully they’ll be able to continue their great play. As for the Nets, they’ll have their chance to bounce back against the Rockets on Saturday night as well.
